Light is a kind of intuitive, easily controllable, and spatiotemporal stimuli that is advantageous in controlled molecular delivery system. Gold nanoparticles (GNPs) are well known as optically active plasmonic materials and generate the local heat by photothermal conversion effect under the resonance condition.
