Fermented aronia have been used for diet therapy commercial but its mechanisms of bioactivities have not been investigated. The present study was conducted to investigate the antiobesity and antioxidant of fermented aronia (FA). The antioxidant capacity was measured by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging activity. The DPPH scavenging activity was 39-41% at 70 μg/mL of FA.
