In this study, we isolated Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) from Ginseng Sprouts grown under 6 different conditions (dark, blue, red, UV, IR, or white light source) at Smart Farm located in Gangneung (KIST) and tested their potential probiotic functions in vitro. To collect culturable bacteria from the sprouts, the sprout samples were freshly harvested and processed in 0.1% peptone buffer by either sonication or blending.
