This paper examines the characteristics of Korean learners’ interlanguage that appear in Russian segments. In this paper’s experiment, the subjects participated in the 1st and 2nd year courses, respectively. The results of the two groups were compared. As a result of the experiment, some characteristics of interlanguage were found. In pronunciation of vowels, Korean learners overlapped the place of articulation of vowels excluding ‘а’, ‘я’, ‘о’, and ‘у’ in both the first and second year courses. And Korean learners replace ‘ы’ in Russian with the diphthong ‘의’ in Korean. In pronunciation of voiced stops, Korean learners insert a vowel [ы] before voiced stop. It means that they attempt to replace the vocal cord vibrations of voiced stop with vowel insertion. In the pronunciation of hard consonants and soft consonants, Korean learners in the 2nd year course distinguish F2 values between the two groups like native speakers, but show differences in F1 values from native speakers. It means that they distinguish not only the front and rear positions of the tongue, but also the height of the tongue when articulating soft consonant.
