This article reports recent research of European Music Archaeology Project. The philosophical aim of the project is a peaceful coexistence in European Union, it mainly explores the roots of ancient European music as a represent of European civilization and their soul. The vision of this project is based on an agile and closed network with all of European countries and cultural units, moreover excavate and restore ancient European music repertoire plan a wide variety of musical performances in different contexts, cooperate with a cutting edge IT technology in order to transfer the original soundscape flamboyantly. EMAP is working with professionals in various field of study to support each project. They are musicologist for deciphering the ancient score, ancient instrument specialists for music performance, artisans for production of ancient music instrument who are well trained in traditional artisanship and so forth. Especially, media artists and sound designers for the audience’s new experience in new generation endorse a new virtue of the ancient music culture. Furthermore, the specialist can show their fruit with the rebirth of ancient music in many chances such as local music festivals, not only music in a certain cultural context but also in contemporary music festivals and in regions which Muslim cultural legacy have. For civil education and communication with different generations, they put their enormous effort on book publication and various media release project. These educational materials for new generation spread the essence of European culture and the importance of their unity for peaceful sustainability.
