The acceleration of industrialization aggravates environmental pollution. People begin to pay attention to environmental problems and put forward the concept of sustainable environment and development from the perspective of landscape design. Gradually, sustainable landscape design has become the development trend of this design. This study takes the urban linear park as the research object and analyzes the case of the park from the aspect of sustainable landscape design, hoping to formulate the strategy of improving the landscape design of the urban linear park and lay a theoretical foundation for the subsequent sustainable landscape design of the park. Meanwhile, the researchers carried out two research methods: literature research and case analysis. Firstly, this study collates the theoretical data of sustainable landscape design and linear park based on the theoretical investigation. Then through the further analysis of the previous research, the guiding principles of sustainable landscape design in linear parks suitable for this study are obtained, and then the case analysis of linear parks selected by this study is carried out according to the principles. Then it concludes that the urban linear park plays an important driving role in the urban renewal of the surrounding areas, promotes the new development of the surrounding environment, and has higher values than expected. Finally, the improvement strategy of sustainable landscape design of urban linear parks is put forward, which focuses on respecting nature and using landscape materials rationally.
