We have confirmed in vivo anti-allergic efficacy of DMZ-109, 121 and 129, natural herbs which have the potential in vitro anti-allergic efficacy, using systemic anaphylactic shock and passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) mice model. In both studies, male balb/c mice of 6 weeks of age were used. First, in systemic anaphylaxis model induced by compound 48/80, we measured plasma histamine levels by ELISA. As a result, all of three test articles have significantly inhibited histamine release, especially DMZ-121 showed the best inhibitory effect in histamine release among them.
