Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most frequent causes of cancer death worldwide. There is a lack of GC-specific and relevant models; furthermore, most of the anticancer drug candidates have failed during the preclinical trial. In this study, we developed a 3D cell printing-based GC model using gastric tissue-specific bioink that also includes a vascular structure which altogether can provide an adequate biological microenvironment to GC cells. To make a 3D gastric tissue-specific microenvironment, we developed a decellularization protocol for gastric tissue to obtain stomach tissue decellularized extracellular matrix (st-dECM).
