Background
Recently Single-incision laparoscopic choledochal cyst (CC) excision has been adopted. Single- incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) for CC is considered more challenging because it requires a more experienced hand and surgical equipment. However it has definite advantages in cosmesis and cost. We compared SILS and Conventional laparoscopic surgery (4-ports) in this study.
Methods
From August 2018 to March 2021, 15 patients with CC had Laparoscopic surgery in Chonnam national university hospital. Eight patients underwent conventional surgery, and seven patients with SILS.
Results
