This study showed changes in the residential environment of residents in Jeollabuk-do Provincial Office, a close city, as Jeonbuk Innovation City was created for balanced regional development. Accordingly, this study measured and analyzed satisfaction and importance of residential environment satisfaction.
As a result, first, the degree of importance that respondents in close cities in Jeonbuk Innovation City think is the most important part of the facility. It was followed by public, accessible, cultural and educational orders. Second, the degree of satisfaction that respondents in close cities in Jeonbuk Innovation City thought was the most satisfying in terms of education. Next came cultural, public, accessible and institutional. Third, the reasons for moving from a close city to a Jeonbuk innovative city were the possibility of development, future value, and educational conditions. And the overall IPA analysis shows that public transportation routes and parking lots should be the top priority. The idea that the current level should be maintained consistently was found to be convenience facilities such as residential facilities, hospitals, marts, banks, roads, parks and landscaping facilities, community centers, district offices, and post offices. And in close cities, except for railways and private education, there was a difference in satisfaction and importance, and the score of importance was higher. This showed that residents in nearby urban areas felt that they needed to improve more in many ways than the current level.
