The introduction and infiltration of new high-tech media in every field of art has brought unprecedented changes and far-reaching effects on art production. Digital synthesis, computer painting, three-dimensional animation, and other digital special effects have gained increasing attention from artists and applied in the creation of works of art, resulting in miraculous technical and visual effects. Through a review of model theory, production technology, and application of models in art creation today, this paper puts forward the importance of combining models with other special effects in the digital new media age, and its perfect combination with digital special effects in new media environments. This work uses the finished model as the main subject, and the video material and main body of the model were superimposed with digital special effects. The effect is more real than that of a computer-generated one and is called “the touch of the eye” and “physical truth.”
