Entering the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the importance of digital media has become an important part, further emphasizing and influencing all aspects of human activity. The advent, evolution and development of digital media is also changing the paradigm of the museum"s exhibition and education. In particular, communication through greater interest to visitors and stronger immersion was achieved through technology medium called digital. Media theorists such as McLuhan said that digital media creates communication of human senses, seeing the media as an important player that can extend human senses. In particular, virtual reality and augmented reality combined with various parts of the real world and formed a new culture caused by digital media by providing a sense of reality and immersion. Among digital media, smartphones equipped with camera functions equivalent to smart media have combined with augmented reality to create an era of mobile communication. In this study, the Children"s Museum of the National Folk Museum of Korea mentioned the advantages of digital education by presenting examples of digital technology media for children and their families, museum education that combines digital media technology called augmented reality with folklore, coloring folk games enjoyed by AR, and searching for treasures in the distance of memories. In addition, a measure was proposed to enable education using digital media to become a continuously developed education as a future education.
