In this study, we investigated replacement of high fat with PUFA would prevent inflammatory responses in the experimental rodents. Three different diets were used for five-week-old Sprague-Dawley male rats, high-fat diet ( HFD ), HFD + PO or HFD + CO for 12 weeks, and then intraperitoneal injection of 5 mg / kg LPS. The experimental rats were sacrificed after 24 hours of LPS injection.
