Report Errors
When a user wants a smart surveillance service for the purpose of an emergency or safe return home, the user uses this service by using a corresponding program in a smart device that provides location information of a global positioning system (GPS). The smart surveillance system automatically tracks and photographs the user by selecting and controlling CCTV (closed circuit television) cameras near the user using GPS location information received from the user"s program. The PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera has features that can monitor a wide area with a single camera by using left and right rotation, vertical tilt, and zooming. Fixed cameras are cameras with a fixed orientation, with fixed viewing angle and defined focal range, and it has the feature of accurately monitoring the defined area. Existing methods use only PTZ cameras for user tracking and photography, but the proposed smart surveillance service improves the service rate by photographing users using PTZ cameras and fixed cameras.
