Atranol, chloroatranol, evernic acid, (+)-usnic acid and atranorin are known as chemicals causing contact allergy. There are several research papers about analysis of some of these compounds from lichen extracts or perfumes. In this study, we optimized simultaneous determination method for atranol, chloroatranol, evernic acid, (+)-usnic acid and atranorin from sanitary napkins using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS).
