The contribution of interfacial layers to device performance and stability is considered important. The most widely used hole transport layer (HTL) for conventional organic solar cells (OSCs)–PEDOT:PSS has some shortcomings such as the acidity and the hygroscopicity which cause the limitation for long-term stability.
