Life is a continuation of each individual"s endless longing. For a better situation than now, we, now and in the future, learn lessons from our achievements and failures in the past. The presidential memorial hall is presented as an educational and spatial approach in which old records centering on Korea"s past, especially people (the President of the Republic of Korea) are used as a reference for the choice and decision of ‘I’ and ‘We’ needed in the present era. So, we want to develop our existing facilities. To this end, it is necessary to check how their achievements and lives are handled and delivered in the US (the beginning of the presidential system), which has already been popularized and settled, compares them with domestic cases, and supplements the blind spots by pinpointing the current situation in Korea. Above all, by clarifying the meanings of ‘memory’ and ‘retention’, which are the core of the memorial hall, realizing an interior design that does not stop at a simple exhibition role and connecting the design with a realistic building intention that can serve as a signal (or stimulation) to visitors There is a purpose in establishing a plan.
