(연구배경 및 목적) 과학기술의 발전에 따라 기념관 공간의 형식 다양성이 증가하고, 이에 따라 공간 디자인 분야에서는 다양한 전시 방식과 사람들의 시선을 끄는 전시 장치에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 현대 기념관은 문화적 정체성 강화와 집단적 기억의 발굴을 목표로 하며, 과거와 미래를 연결하여 사람들에게 과거의 기억을 전달하고 집단 기억을 찾는 중요한 공간이다. 들뢰즈의 사건학은 역사적 사건이 지속적으로 생성되고 영향을 미치는 과정을 연구한다. 기념관은 역사적 사건을 전시하는 공간일 뿐만 아니라, 그 자체로도 사건의 일부가 된다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 감정을 자극하고 사건을 촉진하여 관람객의 감정적 요구를 충족시키는 기념관 공간의 특성을 찾아내는 것이다. 공간의 특성을 찾는 과정에서, 들뢰즈의 사건학을 통해 기념관 공간의 요소를 분석하고, 이를 통해 기념관 디자인에 새로운 이론적 관점과 개념을 제공하고자 한다. (연구 방법) 기념관 공간에 대한 이론적 고찰과 분석을 통해 기념관 공간의 발전방향과 공간표현 특징을 찾아낸다. 질 들뢰즈의 이론에 대한 철학적 사상과 배경을 바탕으로 사건학에 관해 선행연구와 전문자료를 고찰하고 질 들뢰즈의 사건학적 특성을 도출한다. 셋째, 도출된 사건학적 특성을 기준으로 기념관 공간을 분석하고 사건학과 기념관 공간의 특징적 표현과의 관계 및 사건학에서 나타나는 기념관 공간특성을 도출한다. 사례 분석은 공간 체험에 적용되어 긍정적인 평가를 받고 있는 국내외에서 최근 10년간 건립된 기념관 공간을 연구 대상으로 선정한다. (결과) 들뢰즈의 사건학 선행연구를 통해 도출된 사건학적 특성요소를 기준으로 기념관 공간 사례를 분석하고 종합적 분석 내용을 통해 사건학과 기념관 공간의 특징적 표현과의 연관성 및 사건학에서 나타나는 기념관 공간 특성인 전달의 다의성, 전달의 강조성, 전달의 유동성, 전달의 다양성, 체험의 확장성, 체험의 다층성, 요소의 관련성, 전시의 즉시성, 서사의 불가측성, 배치의 특이성을 도출했다. (결론) 결론적으로, 사건학을 기념관 공간에 적용함으로써 공간의 전체 의미를 독특한 사건으로 분할하고, 개념을 모호하게 하여 사건에 잠재적인 의미를 부여한다. 이를 통해 감정 전환의 특이점과 결합하여 재배치하고, 서사의 배열에 불확정 요소를 도입하여 감정 경험의 특이점을 찾아내어, 특정 의미로 한정할 수 없는 지속적인 흐름 생성 사고의 다의미 공간을 형성한다. 본 연구는 들뢰즈의 사건학을 기념공간에 적용하여 그 연계성을 탐색하고, 사건학적 공간특성이라는 개념을 제시하여 기념 공간 디자인의 해석방법에서 기초자료로서 활용가치가 있다고 판단된다.

(Background and Purpose) As scientific and technological progress advances, the forms of memorial spaces are becoming increasingly diverse in form, prompting active research into exhibition the methods and devices used for the exhibition of such spaces and for maintaining the maintain visitors' attention of visitors within the context of space design. Contemporary memorial halls aim to reinforce cultural identity and uncover collective memories, functioning as crucial spaces that bridge past and future by conveying historical experiences. This study draws, Deleuze's theories on the ongoing creation and influence of historical events to examine the memorial hall as an active participant in the process of historical creation and influence. The study aims to identify the characteristics of memorial spaces that meet visitors' emotional needs by evoking feelings and highlighting significant events. By analyzing the elements of memorial spaces through Deleuze's framework, this research introduces new theoretical perspectives and concepts for memorial design. (Method) Theoretical considerations and an analysis of memorial spaces are used to identify the direction of their development and the characteristics of spatial expression. The research is grounded in the philosophical ideas and background of Gilles Deleuze's theory. It also the research reviews prior studies and specialized data on event studies to derive Deleuze's event characteristics. Subsequently, the analysis focuses on memorial spaces, with a view to examining the relationship between events and the spatial expressions of the aforementioned characteristics. A case analysis is conducted on a sample of memorial spaces built in the previous decade, both domestically and internationally, that have received positive evaluations in order to assess the spatial experiences engendered by these spaces. (Results) The case of the memorial space was subjected to a comprehensive analysis based on the event-based characteristics derived from Deleuze's previous research on case studies. The analysis yielded insights into the specific arrangement and the connection between the event and the characteristic expression of the memorial space, as well as the characteristics of the memorial space. (Conclusions) In conclusion, the application of event studies to the memorial space allows for the overall meaning of the space to be divided into discrete events, thereby rendering the concept ambiguous and potentially meaningful. This results in a rearrangement of the narrative in conjunction with the singularity of emotional transformation, whereby an uncertain element is introduced to identify singularity of the emotional experience and establish a multisense space of continuous flow-generating thinking that cannot be limited to a specific meaning. This study applies Deleuze's event studies are applied to the commemorative space to explore its connection, and presents the concept of event-based spatial characteristics. It is determined to be a valuable source of basic data for interpreting the commemorative space design.
