Structural safety evaluation of national cultural heritage is on the rise in response to continuously increasing natural disasters (earthquakes, typhoons etc.). This study analyzes the architectural scale and member dimensions of traditional wooden structures to show the effectiveness of the mechanics model based on their characteristics. As a result, the roof area of a building is about twice that of the building area, and the eaves length are different depending on factors such as roof type and entablature type. The column have an upper diameter of 80% compared to the lower diameter, and the length of the column is distributed around 3,000mm. The slenderness ratio of the column is distributed around 30. And, there is a proportional relationship between the column diameter and the distribution load.
