This study was started for the purpose of seeking methods for improving specialized vocational high school students’ ability to adapt to school life. The results and contents of the study are as follows: First, the mean of cognitive interest was high in some grades; however, the higher the grade, the lower. Second, the mean of interest in hair course was high. Third, as for the influencing relationship of learning interest with the influencing relationship with academic adaptation was highest. Fourth, psychological adaptation showed influencing relationships with all the factors of interest except value interest. Fifth, social adaptation showed an influencing relationship with cognitive interest. It is expected that these results of study will be used as base data for understanding adolescents who have difficulty in adapting to school life in cosmetology-convergent art education.
