China's central-local relation has been formed through cumulative experiences from long historical traditions. Therefore, from the present point of view, it is difficult to fully understand the complex central-local relations of China. This study aims to present the prospect for the future by analyzing historical heritage, dynamics, and trends through the Chinese-Chinese-local relations from ancient times to the present. This study explored the characteristics of the central ideology with China's central-local relations into a single state system, the dynamics of centralization and decentralization in the process of building socialist system, and the fiscal federation of dual relations between politics and economy. Accordingly, it was suggested that the process of exploring the recent governance relationship structure will continue in the future.
