The twelve palindrome poems of four seasons are Wuwen-Xuzhong’s series of poems composed of five character quatrain in the Northern Song Dynasty and the early Jin Dynasty. The palindrome poems of four seasons are is the first form of poetry in Song Dynasty. Wuwen-Xuzhong’s works are a combination of the form of palindrome and the content of four seasons’ songs. The characteristics of literary aesthetics of his work can be divided into three parts. This poetry develops with the passage of seasonal time. It contains the seasonal circular beauty of the four seasons’ songs in content, the form of palindrome can be said to have achieved a circular beauty in the form. Second, coupling thinking and symmetrical beauty. The combination of poems is closely related to the coupling thinking of China, this kind of coupling thinking mode is also related to symmetrical thinking. In a joint sentence of each sentence, nouns are symmetrical with nouns, and verbs are symmetrical with verbs. Third, the diversity and lyrical beauty of images. It is difficult to use multiple images with a five character quatrain, but his works use visual, auditory, kinesthetic and other images through the way of composing poems. Besides, it is different from the general four seasons songs, which restrains the emotional expression of the author, focuses on describing the changes of the objective scenery and strengthens the lyricism.
