This study intends to identify the status of North Korea"s cultural properties, architecture and cities, and the Kaesong Industrial Complex, which are related to the preservation and management of Historic Monuments ans Sites in Kaesong, and to examine the specific management plans of the Kaesong Area, including Historic Monuments ans Sites in Kaesong. The purpose of this study is to identify the various institutional management systems of North Korea related to historical and cultural heritage by considering the national level system and individual city action plans being implemented in North Korea.
