The main purpose of this study is to identify the influencing main factors on the mobile learning usage intent of mobile learning users in China. For this purpose, designing the expanded technology acceptance model and the research hypotheses based on the relevant literature reviews. Data have been collected from universities students who have used mobile learning in China and the empirical findings were tested by structural equation modeling analysis.
The empirical findings are as follows: First, five factors elicited as variables influencing use intention of mobile learning except for subjective norm, ubiquity, self-efficacy, interactivity, and innovation have a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use respectively. Second, perceived ease of use has not a positive effect on perceived usefulness.
Finally, subjective norm, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive effect on the intention to use mobile learning.
Based on the results, a few significant implications shall be suggested for mobile learning service providers in order to increase mobile learning usage in China.
