This study examined the acceptance of contents from ‘Dangak’ pieces about love in [Goryeosa ․ Akji] and form of Chieo and Guho from [Dongmunseon] materials in some of the Goryeo Korean songs.
Among ‘Dangak’ pieces, ones that sang about the love between man and woman were utilized as the material for expanding the contents during the process of making traditional Korean folk song into court music. Also, the form of Chieo and Guho where Chieo opened the start of banquet and followed up by Guho was reflected on Goryeo Korean songs. In response, this study examined how the form of Chieo’s narration, the form of suggesting Guho after Chieo, and contents and emotions of ‘Dangak’ pieces about love were reflected in Goryeo Korean songs.
The examination result implied that there was intervention of literary people qualified music or writing and specialized musicians during the process of making folk music into court music.
