There are obvious gender differences in the jade wares buried in Ying Guo"s tomb. On the whole, ceremonial jade is far more used in men"s tombs than in women"s tombs; women"s tombs use more clothing and decorations than men’s. This article analyzes the differences between the male and female grave owners of Ying Guo"s cemetery during the western and eastern Zhou period(B.C.11c-B.C.3c), combined with the cases of other female nobles in the Central Plains, and analyzes the status of women"s social power outside the ritual system represented by the tripod system. Explore the special role of funeral jade in the actual operation of social power. Unlike the bronze"s clear indication of political identity, the jadeware demonstrates that women are no less powerful than men in real life due to their dual attributes in status hierarchy and decorative items.
