Silver nanowire (AgNW) networks have attracted a lot of interest owing to their outstanding properties such as low cost, solution processability, optical transparency, mechanical flexibility, and high electrical conductivity. In this context, the AgNW networks are also considered as promising electrode materials for realizing highperformance wearable and/or transparent devices. Here we review the fabrication and processing techniques of the AgNW networks and their transparent applications. It is anticipated that this review will not only provide a deeper insight into the AgNW networks, but also open attractive new applications.
