This article, from the perspective of new media musicians, presents an analysis of the application of electronic music created on the MAX platform, a platform in new media sound installations in the field of contemporary art. The paper briefly explains the concept of installation art and its extension to sound installation art, which is a branch of installation art. The origin and development of installation art is presented, after which the development of contemporary new media sound installation art is described. Subsequently, a brief introduction to the MAX creation platform is provided wherein the origin, development, and application of equipment related to the MAX software are discussed. Finally, musical installation art works are analyzed and the development process of musical installation art is described and the works analyzed.
