The purpose of this study were to identify whether the clinical experience of nursing students influence their ethical value and, to determine what factors influence the understanding of biomedical ethics. In this descriptive research, a total of 253 nursing students(127 second-year nursing students before clinical practice and 126 four-year nursing students after clinical practice) from J city were selected. Data was collected using self reported questionnaire filled from April 2 to June 16, 2016. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. When the difference of consciousness of biomedical ethics of second-year nursing students and four-year students were compared, second-year nursing students had significantly higher scores(2.97 for second-year, 2.88 for four-year, p=.003). second-year nursing students were statistically significant higher scores in the following areas: Right life of fetus(p=.000), Artificial abortion(p=.000), Right to life of newborn(p=.001). On the basis of these results, clinical experience of nursing students should be regarded as an important factor and developed of education program in biomedical ethics for nursing students.
