The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth how to recognize leisure constraints and negotiation from the perspective of college students. The quantitative research was based on the results obtained by analyzing a total of 186 questionnaires. The qualitative research utilized the transcription data and observation notes of Focus Group Interview of thirteen college students. In summary, the correlation between leisure constraints and leisure negotiations was statistically significant except for cost negotiation, and K-average cluster analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between leisure constraints and leisure negotiation according to level. (ß=.401), middle-class (ß=.341), and lower house (ß=.211). As a result of examining the effect of leisure constraints on leisure bargaining negotiation, it was found that time negotiation (△R2=48.3%) and cost (△R2=37.8%) had major influence. The interviews also led to two main topics and nine sub-topics. Leisure constraints appeared to be psychological burden, lack of motivation, personal inclination, lack of time, lack of environment and facilities, and economic burden. The leisure bargaining negotiations appeared to be time negotiation, overcoming constrained environment and facilities, and overcoming the economic burden. Based on the results, implications for leisure negotiation according to leisure constraints of college students were derived.
