This paper is aims to recap the points from the Standard Korean Grammar(2018) and discuss it critically. The content covered by standard Korean Grammar(2018) is so extensive that looked at it with a focus on Morphology and Syntax. This paper discuss the details of change from existing school grammar, because the system of Standard Korean Grammar(2018) is based on the school grammar and described in a way that respect the existing grammatical system. Each part of the grammar is closely related to each other. In view of the complexity of the system, several changes need to be discussed more carefully. It is regrettable that the changes to these systems as a whole have not been fully accounted for, although there has been a major change in the grammar, especially in relation to the 'ida' and 'composition' settings. However, the attempt of Standard Grammar, whose overall system of Korean grammar has been reexamined, is a response to the changing times.
