For children of the present age, education using smart mobile devices now occupies a part of children"s art education activities. It might be because as pen-embedded mobile devices and smart tablet PCs have been released, drawing and coloring has now been enabled with digital gadgets. Today, functional game contents for children’ education was enabled to be downloaded in the form of applications and then, used for education at any time. However, the current status is that there are very few coloring functional games that have art education effects for children, that even the content constituents contained in the game are similar for all games in service, and that the functions in expressive techniques are also lacking. In this study, we cognized the importance of developing coloring functional game contents for children"s art education which were used for children"s coloring activities and could enhance their creativity and imagination, and are going to perform a study centered on the development elements of coloring game contents for children using mobile devices suitable for the digital coloring function and then to present the result, by introducing the expressive techniques that have been proven in the existing offline children"s art education.
