The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between mentor functions, passion and achievement of university students majoring in dance. The results drawn in this study were as follows. First, mentor functions of the university students majoring in dance had a significant impact on passion. Second, mentor functions of the university students majoring in dance had a positive influence on achievement. Third, achievement significantly influenced passion. Fourth, the analysis of the relationship between mentor functions, passion and achievement showed that the mentor functions had a bigger indirect effect through the passion than a direct effect on achievement.
