This study was designed to find the effect of experience on the choice of dancing performance.A total of 539 people participated in this survey, which were conducted among adults of the age 18 to 60, who are living in Daegu. These results were analyzed by a statistics package, SPSS Version 15.0. The survey has a total of 23 questions, containing 18 questions about audience development and 5 questions about sociology of population. Cronbach’s alpha, which is a measure of survey’s internal consistency, was between 0.864 and 0.922, confirming the reliability of the survey. And, based on their responses, the participants of the survey were divided into four different groups through principal factoring analysis. Using these groups as independent variables, the dependent-sample t-test was done using experience of seeing dance performance as dependent variables. The results from three groups(group that pursued artistic qualities, group that pursued economic gains and group that pursued external appearance) led to statistical significance. But, the other group(group that pursed convenience) did not lead to statistical significance. That is, in the former groups the experience of seeing dance performance means significant variable, but in the latter group it means no. Compared with preceding research, the finding means that the improvement of facilities of the stage and quality of service take a important role in choosing dance performance. The facilities of the stage and quality of service are social overhead capital and government and local society may invest them. And, the improvement of performance belongs to planning organization. So, the two subjects should cooperate and try to expand the audience for dancing performance.
