Hypereosinophilc syndrome is a systemic disorder with se-vere blood eosinophilia, signs and symptoms of paren- chymal organ involvement, particularly in the heart and in the lungs and through a poor prognosis. There was a report done on four patients which had episodic angioedema associated with eosinophilla which was characterized by recurrent episodes of angioedema, urticaria, fever, weight gain, and a benign course without involvement of internalorgans. Nonepisodic types were recently noted in Japanese cases and showed distinct characteristics, with edema primarily localized on the upper and lower extremities, non-recurrent edema and mild attacks. We will describe a patient whose clinical features are similar to those observed in nonepisodic angioedema with eosinophilia.
