Any trying of innovation is not independent from the perceived problems of the area. The innovative trends of German vocational education were also related with her faced difficulties: not sufficient supplying of training places by firms, deficiency of training quality and rigidity of vocational training system. To overcome these problems, following measurements were implemented last times: inviting and consulting the firms for participation in vocational training, counseling and supporting the youths for the active search of training places, encouraging the trainee to learn core-competences, revision of training vocations and their contents-regulations, research and development of new training vocation, trying to link between vocational and general education, continual support for the model experiment in vocational education. At the end some implications of German vocational education and its innovative trends for Korea were discussed.
