It is a fact there has been variety of forms of sorcery, religious ceremony related to ceremony in the Korean petroglyph remains, but there are very few broadly accepted opinion regarding the form of ceremony nor the time period. To get a grasp of further understanding of this matter, the remains must be examined to analyze the directly and indirectly alluded object. The author analyzed the alluded object, stone knives, indicated in the Chilpo-ri remains to understand the point of time in the ceremony. As a result, I found out the fact that this knife has been indicated towards the falling sun in the summer solstice day. As so according to the archeological documents, the sunset point indicated by the stone knife can be understood as the location of cooperative ceremony celebrated by the local group with their center in the Chilpo-ri. In other words, the production of this stone knife was to indicate this.
