The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on the improvement of oral health and quality of life of adults by surveying knowledge, attitude and practice about oral health for adults who participated in prevention program for dental hygiene department. This study is the final analysis of 71 questionnaires of 20 years old or older who participated in prevention program of Dental Hygiene Department of D University, Busan, from April 12 to April 26, 2017. The data were analyzed using SPSS program. It was significantly higher than the oral health knowledge with systemic disease group (7.72 points) than systemic disease-free group (7.17 points) (P <0.05), drinking experience three times a week or more groups (8.17 points) was significantly higher than almost no drinking experience group(7.52 points) and drinking experience 1-2 times per two weeks group(7.52 points) (P <0.05 ). The relationship between oral health knowledge, attitude and behavior was statistically significant. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in oral health knowledge, attitude, and behavior among some adults. Therefore, proper oral health education should be implemented according to individual oral environment, and it is necessary to learn and learn knowledge through oral health education.
