The human desire for creation of life is continued. Also the desire is continued through not only the technological efforts but artistic practice. This paper is research for Artificial Life(A-Life) Art that presented convergence of art and technology about life and artificial life. For this research, I survey the definition and concept of A-Life and I also introduce and analysis A-Life artworks that treated at the recognized art field such as 'VIDA : Art and Artificial Life Art'. Then We will present the aesthetic characteristics of A-Life Art. A-Life artworks are classified the digital image based artworks, the A-Life sculpture, the autonomous agent and the artworks related social and cultural aspects. The aesthetic characteristics of A-Life Art depended on this classification are the aesthetic of behavior, the aesthetic of mimesis, the aesthetic of new interactivity and the embodiment of everyday technologies. These aesthetic characteristics demand that our understanding shift to the relationship between spectator and artwork.
