This is the essay about the Korean education of history. Through this, I have tried to research the reason why the education of history has never been done successfully. I thought the reasons as follow; 1) The makers of the educational policy have been ignorant of the worth of history and historical thinking. 2) The researchers and students of the western history have never had the right end or the consciousness of study of their major subject. In the result of the failure of education of history, the crises of human sciences have been penetrated into the intellectual society and the soul of men has been devastated. And leaders in every field who have forgotten the past have lost the course of world history, so that they have made the future of our country dark. In oder to overcome these difficulties, we must attempt to make the new educational program of world history. I guess that the 7th program of education would have to play an important role in the matter of this. Judging this program, I found that it was not enough to teach the student a right and good history of world. Because I think that history must include all of human and social sciences and educational program of these parts has to be included in educational program of history.
