How The Leadership of Employer Come Out Business Results? Toshihiro MATSUBARA (Aichi‐Gakuin University) Zhaowu DENG (Aichi‐Gakuin University) Xiguang BIAN (Aichi‐Gakuin University) Haojen KAO (Aichi‐Gakuin University) The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of employer’ leadership on business results and the process from leadership to business results. The content model and process model of employer’s leadership are presented. This study examines four hypotheses regarding the process from employer’s leadership to business results. Four hypotheses are following. Hypotheses 1:Traits of employer immediately take effects on business results. Hypotheses 2:The effects of employer’s traits on business results are mediated by corporate culture and worker’s morale. Hypotheses 3:Employer’s leadership behavior immediately takes effects on business results Hypotheses 4:The effects of employer’s leadership behavior on business results are mediated by corporate culture and worker’s morale. Questionnaire survey was conducted using 160 companies. Workers of HRM department rated the traits and behavior of their presidents, corporate culture, worker morale, and business results. The analysis of data was used the covariance structure analysis. The four hypotheses are supported. The implication of this study is discussed.
