The Yoga system has been traditionally accorded a well deserved place among the six systems of ancient Hindu philosophy. Pātañjali’s Yoga Sūtras is the most ancient text on the Yoga system also it seems to be an integral part of any philosophy of life. Where cultures have developed and evolved into systems of thought. So Yoga also is evolved as one of the essential structures for such cultures and societies. Yoga is one of the six orthodox systems of India philosophy. It was collated, coordinated and systematized by Pātañjali in his classical work, the Yoga Sūtras, which consists of 196 terse aphorisms. The practice of yoga consists of the eight limbs known Astaņga yoga. The eight limbs are yama, niyama, āsana, prāņāyāma, pratyāhāra, dhārana, dhyāna and samādhi. Yama and Niyama control the yogi’s passions and emotions also keep him in harmony with his fellow man. āsanas keep the body healthy and strong with nature. They are called bahiranga sādhanā. prāņāyāma and pratyāhāra teach the aspirant to regulate the breathing and thereby control the mind. They are called antaranga sādhanā. dhārana, Dyana and samādhi take the yogi into the innermost recesses of his soul. It is the quest of the soul. These three stages are called antarātmā sādhanā. We practice this manner to get illuminate our life also regular practice will bring you to look at your self and your goals in a new light. It will help remove the obstacles to good health and stable emotions, In this way, Yoga will help you to achieve emancipation and self-realization, which is the ultimate goal of samādhi.
