The study is aimed at finding out how taekwondo training activities affect living satisfaction and mental health for the elderly women who have entered an aging society and become a social leader. To achieve this goal, the Silver Taekwondo team, which is participating in training at the Senior Welfare Center in Gyeonggi-do, was selected as a population and 220 people were utilized for the final analysis. The collected data were used in PASW 21.0 for frequency analysis and descriptive analysis to identify the general characteristics of the variables, and then for verifying the validity of the measurement tools, an exploration factor analysis was performed and the confidence level of the measurement is verified. Correlation was performed to find out the relationship between the lesions, and a Multiple Regression was performed to find out the effect of mental health on living satisfaction. The results of the study showed that first, the living satisfaction factors of participation were high among all sub-factories, and the mental health factors were low among all sub-components. In addition, it has been shown that the participants are the most effective two times a week in differences depending on the frequency of participation. Second, it has been shown that living satisfaction has a significant effect on mental health in part. We hope that the results of this study will be used as a basic data in proposing measures to improve the physical and mental lives of elderly women and to provide benefits for reducing medical expenses.
