Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop and validate golf poitsive psychological capital questionnaire. In order to develop the questionnaire for golfers, the opsitive psychological capital theory and research in the field were reviewed.
Method: For this study, 73 items were produced based on previous resaerch. And 202 golfers were surveyed. 5 factors and 17 items were completed; three questions for self-efficacy, four for psychological strategy, four for resilience, three for optimism, and three for hoep were selected as a result of conducting the correlation analysis and regression analysis by (CSAI-2) for the verification of the predictive validity.
Results: In the results, GPPCQ was confirmed about discriminant validtyi, convergent validity, and predictive validity. There were interactive effects in accordance with sex and level. In the results of the univariate analysis in accordance with sex, female pros showed higher resilience factor than male pros. In the results of univariate analysis in accordance with level, self-efficacy and resilience were high in the order of regular member, associate member, and amateur while the hope was high in the ordeor f associate member, regular member, and amateur.
Conclusion: Therefore, the GPPCQ scale developed by this study can verify as a reliable and valid tool. In the future, it would be used efficiently as basic data to develop ocunseling programs for psychological skills and the evaluation of GPPCQ for researches in golf area.
