In our society, social institutions or notions regarding homosexuality generally find it difficult to expose it to the surface of the water, and have a very closed and non-circular structure to actively explain it. It is not simple in its own sense that, despite the fact that homosexuality in literary works does not come to the surface, there are continuously gay-looking works from ancient times to modern times. Works with homosexuality can shed light on one aspect of human inner life and show the essential aspects
of human life that live within it in line with social circumstances. You can see that in the homosexual elements that appear in classical literature, you talk about men. In addition, homosexuality in classical literature is seen in a variety of ways, appearing not simply for sexual union or purpose, but in other forms of human new desires. It turns out that even in the closed society of the classical era, we positively embrace the desires and feelings of man. It is believed to have expressed frustrated desires in different ways. Here we can see that men are ostensible to their loyalty. In addition, homosexuality in classical works shows a variety of forms of recognition. You can also see that a person who feels love does not just focus on the sexual activity or contact he or she has, but on the human beauty and inner aspect. In addition, it can be assumed that they were more attracted to the diverse qualities and charm they had. In addition, we can see that homosexuality is not a minority form of affection felt by special people, but it is accepted by people of various walks of life.

우리 사회에서 동성애와 관련하여 사회적 제도나 관념은 대체적으로 그 수면위로 드러내기 어려워하고, 이를 적극적으로 설명하기에는 매우 폐쇄적이고 비순환의 구조를 지니고 있다. 문학작품에서 동성애가 수면으로 나오지 못하는 상황에도 불구하고 예로부터 현대까지 지속적으로 동성애적 양상을 가진 작품들이 나타나다는 것은 그것 자체로 의미가 단순하지 않다. 동성애적 양상을 가진 작품들은 인간의 내적 삶의 한 양상을 조명하며 사회적상황과 맞물려 그 속에서 살아가는 인간들의 본질적 삶의 모습을 보여주고 있다. 고전문학에 나타난 동성애적 요소는 특히 남성을 중심으로 이야기하고 있다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 또한 고전문학에 나타난 동성애적 양상은 단순히 성적 결합이나 목적이 아니라 인간의 새로운 욕망을 다른 형태로 나타내며 다양하게 보여주고 있다. 이는 고전 시대가 지닌 폐쇄적인 사회에서도 인간이 지닌 욕망과 감정을 긍정적으로 수용하고 있음이 드러나고 있다. 이는 좌절된 욕망을 다른 방식으로 표현한 것으로 여겨진다. 여기에 남성들이 지닌 의리를 표면화하여 표장하고 있다. 아울러 고전작품에 나타난 동성애적 양상은 다양한 인정의 형태를 보여주고 있다. 또한 사랑을 느끼는 인물은 단순히 상대가 지닌 성적 활동이나 접촉에만 국한하는 것이 아니라 인간적인 아름다움과 내면적 측면에 비중을 둔다는 것이다. 이들이 지닌 다양한 소양과 매력에 더욱 호감을 느낀 것으로 추측할 수 있다. 아울러 문학작품을 통해 동성애가 특수한 사람들이 느끼는 소수적 애정 형태가 아니라 여러 계층의 사람들이 수용하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.
