In recent years, the market for children"s furniture has grown every year, especially, as parents" attention is concentrated on study furniture, various brand study furniture are being released centering on desks and chairs. However, products focused on study furniture for junior, rather than products of various age groups, are dominant. Therefore, this study considered the developmental and behavioral, emotional and emotional developmental aspects of children by age group and conducted basic study for the development of ideal study furniture for each age group taking into account the complex and integrated dimension such as stability. In order to derive appropriate types of children"s study furniture for each age group, From the age of two to begin using study furniture, we classify children aged 2-3, 4-5, 6-7 as infants and 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 as students. We identified children"s development, behavior, play, emotional factors, and study furniture safety design elements and quality standards and used it as a study furniture design standard. In addition, we analyzed the product type by dividing the type of furniture marketed by 51 domestic companies and 53 overseas companies into infant and student furniture, and derived the type of study furniture by integrating it with its furniture design considerations. Based on this, we finally proposed the development direction along with the type of study furniture design, focusing on the check element for developing appropriate learning furniture for each age group, focusing on the home desk, chair, and bookcase.
