This paper interviewed 35 Chinese marriage immigrant women living in Korea and in order to understand the tendency of general adaptation patterns in Korea. Through this, Chinese marriage migrant women mainly said that they aimed at "assimilation" or "integration". Integration, especially, has been a positive effect on their life. As in this perspective, examined the semantic way and strategies that enable "integration".
The cognitive semantics of the Chinese marriage migrant woman A can be summarized in three ways. 1) To mean the suffering encountered in various aspects of life as "suffering that can be overcome", 2) To obtain happiness through feasible work, 3) To define herself as "good person", and valued the way for it. In the case of Chinese marriage migrant woman B, 1) It means that she has worth not being damaged by any criticism or play down of the opponent, 2) If conflict occurs, do not hesitate to express her beliefs to the opponent, 3) Try to be born again as a helpful person by herself. These semantics and behaviors have significance as a strategy for integration in the cultural adaptation process.
