The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants that affect visit to automated motel from the point of view of consumers and to analyze if the determinants that have been found in the study of Kim & Kim (2018) influence satisfaction. Self-administered survey around Seoul and convenient sampling method was conducted. Of 450, the total of 448 was analyzed. Frequency, factor, and regression analyses were employed. As a result, because the three variables that account for anonymity significantly affect satisfaction, no encounter with visitors in elevator, a payable machine in individual parking lot, and shutters close automatically after entry are crucial. Additionally, the factor related to room rate partially influences satisfaction. Lastly, more entertainment and adult toys in individual parking garage and room have a significant effect on satisfaction. These three factors, therefore, are regarded important determinants to visit an automated motel on the side of consumer, as found in the study of Kim & Kim (2018). Plus, as like other empirical research, satisfaction has a significant impact on intention of visit. Future studies and implications such as issues of generalization, additional variables, and the unified term about automated motel in the country are discussed.
