Tona is a monk as well as a poetry who was active in the period of last Kamakura and Nanboku. although he is a just poor Monk, He is a seccessful person up to being selected as Senjya of Imperial collection of poetry, Shinsyui-wakasyu.
There was a controversy on Five hyakusyu-uta that Tona left until he die as to whether these are genuine. but recently manuscript - Syahon of HyakusyuB in period of Nanboku was discovered by Doc.Inada-toshinori.so a matter of whether HyakusyuB is genuine was almost solved. but HyakusyuB has no information about establishment yet and is just estimated that HyakuB is a work of the Tona’s last year. It is caused by HyakusyuB has no same poem whit soansyu, although HyakusyuB has many similarities with poet of Soansyu.
So I tried to annottate and interpret HyakusyuB. Based on the results of annotation, I analyzed poem of HyakusyuB that has similar with Shoansyu and tried to verify the circumstances of the establishiment of each poem.. And I found that every poem of Soansyu similar with HyakusyuuB are from Tona’s 40s to the last year. Furthermore compared to the expression of poem of Soansyuu, Poem of HyakusyuB is not rational and It’s expression and rhetoric was little bit simple and straight. I think that When HyakusyuB was established is considered to be his 40s, rather than his last year.
