Spas have become increasingly popular and popularized as they have been attracting attention in order to maintain modern people"s means of healing and improving their quality of life.
However, the existing spa spaces are in the form of program concentration in a simple form. The purpose of this study is to introduce the new healing environment elements of the spa space to meet the needs of the modern society and to approach the emotional factors to maximize the healing effects. The surface and psychological aspects were derived to analyze the effect on space. Light and space are interconnected. Therefore, light is a basic and important element in spa space implementation. In this study, it is found that various characteristics are generated by the environmental factors in the indoor space based on the properties of light through analysis of the characteristics of light. Light changes the interior by direction, intensity, color, etc., and changes the texture, atmosphere and personality to maximize positive effects on mind and body.
Light makes the relationship between space and man more closely, and through this, it provides an environment of healing space in which human mind, body and physical environment can be fused together.
This study suggests the diversity of healing space that healing effect can be applied by applying the characteristics of light to spa space. Based on this research, it seems that the design of the healing environment of the new spa space which can stimulate emotion in the future should be widely done.
